iPhone Pictures {Round 4}

It’s been awhile, friends, but if you have been a follower for a bit, you are familiar with my iPhone picture series.  I get a lot of questions about my pictures of the kids on instagram, and let me once again say that I am not a photographer, but have just figured out how to give my pics a look that I like! But I am constantly working to get better pics.  Here are some of the tips I’ve shared before:

*Shared how I filter all of my pictures here.

*How I sharpen them here. {um game changer}

*How I take our Sunday family pictures here.

And today I am going to share how I take a picture like this:

And turn it into this:Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

I have tried “brightening” pics on the VSCO or insta edits, but am never happy with how they look and fade.  Thats when I read about this ap called PicTapGo.

It has a bajillion filters and I only ever ever use one…the very first one. It’s called Lights On.

It does a great job of helping my pictures that are taken in poor lightening or where the sun is behind the kids.  I love to take candid shots and capture the kids as it, which means sometimes the lighting isn’t very good.  So I run the picture through this first filter a time or two to get the desired look {you can also slide the bar at the bottom each time}…

and then I take it into VSCO and run in through the filter I talked about in my first iPhone blog.

Hope this helps you up your photo game!! Keep taking those pictures, because if you are anything like me, you will forget all of those moments sooner than you think!!

Happy Hump day friends!
