Little Boy Pants

If you have a little boy, then you know the pain that is shopping for their pants.

And if you are a girl mom, be happy that you live in the land of leggings and dresses.

I’ve talked {or rather complained} with so many moms about the struggle we have finding pants for our boys. Why are the waists in boy pants/jeans so big? I hate those buttons inside that tighten them..they look so bunchy when you tighten them enough to actually fit…Grant needs like a size 3T waist and a size 6T length! Seriously I’ve started investing in hightop so that he can wear his “high waters” longer! {And while this does work…kid still needs pants}Processed with VSCO with t1 presetimg_9600

So, this past weekend, I took him out for a couple hours while we were in St. Louis with the mission of findings some clothes {most importantly pants} that fit! And guess what…we found some!! Can you hear the angels singing??img_9427

I am hoping to save some mamas some time by sharing my findings!

Our best bet on jeans: these, these, and these {yes this last pair has the dreaded buttons inside but i didn’t have to pull them too tightly.

Best khaki’s: these and these {I mean do you SEE those prices!!}

P.S. If you have an Abercrombie Kids OUTLET near you, go, run, now! There stuff was so good and the price point was awesome!img_9425

And lastly, as a side note, have you ever taken a 5 year old boy out with the sole purpose of clothes shopping? It was a hoot!! He is so funny! We actually had such a good time. Love me some one on one! {click to see some dressing room action:img_9426 }

Where do you find good pants for your boys? Please comment and share where because I am always looking for them!

Also, if you saw our instastory from last night, you will see made “pumpkin fluff“.  I’ve made this for years {which should tell you that it is both yummy and EASY}. Five ingredients, five minutes, and is such a hit! If you need a last min dish or dessert to bring to thanksgiving, give it a try. Serve with Nilla wafers.pumpkin

Happy Thanksgiving week!

xoxo
