My “Stuart Weitzman” boots for $50

Happy Mid-week friends! Todays post is solely clothing related {heart eyes} so if shopping isn’t your thing, I will see ya tomorrow for some more Gill Family randomness!

For those fashion lovers:  Boot-wearin weather is quickly creeping in…and shoes have always been something I have a hard time investing in. Then, I came across this look on insta and instantly fell in love. HAD to have the boots…BUT…

like many looks I come across and love, when I went to check out the pieces, the boots were Stuart Weitzman and almost $800. OUCH. Why is it that the items I like are always the freakishly expensive ones?? Do you guys have this problem??? ALWAYS happening to me.

Now I am ALL IN on investment pieces, but these {beautiful} fall suede boots won’t get worn enough around here to justify the expense {and run the risk of water/snow/little kid damage}…so I went searching for similar boots in my budget, and found a bunch! I actually found these at the Cape Mall and picked up in person {I am usually an online shopper}. They look so similar! And were less than $50 on sale! Was so excited to buy and are now sitting happily in my closet.

In fact, I loved this look so much, I hunted down the dress {note:had to order a size down as it ran big} WHICH IS NOW ON SALE for less than $50!! I figure I can wear with my black leather Target coat that has now lasted several fall seasons to finish off the look.

Since both OTK boots and bowties are huge trends this fall, here are a couple looks similar to the look above, and at some pretty awesome prices!!

The bag in the original pic is a Chloe {sigh…love} but found this, this and this all for a fraction of the price. And obsessed with this back pack that would give this outfit a little bit of an edgier look.
And this one goes on the “someday” list ;-P
Hope your week wraps up well! The ShopBop sale started today so I know what I will be doing tonight after the kids go to bed! If I find any steals I’ll be sure to share soon!
xoxo
